Short EP with a really cool cover! Stabilize is easily my favorite, some more menacing synths are introduced in the last 3 tracks but it always goes back to the slower moments eventually. Can be bought here!
A mysterious tape that you can't get anywhere online (Except someone uploaded it to youtube thankfully! Go listen here!) The Desert Priest is the main piece here, with reversing guitars and a somber tone. Ziek is pure drone, very nice listen though! Almost sounds like something drowning deep underwater, you can hear faint bubbling.. As of now the only way you can get this tape is by directly contacting the label owner via email (lee_stokoe@hotmail.com). They're very nice though! I'll also attach the full Matching Head catalogue so if you find yourself wanting any of these obscure tapes you can easily pick something out!
All Time Favorite Music!
Whenever I'm asked what the best album of all time is I always go with this one, obviously it's not, objective opinions don't exist! But in my mind it's absolutely perfect. This is one of the few albums I deliberately don't listen to all time time because I want it to stay fresh. Unlike their previous album 10 000 Hz Legend (Which would totally be here but I'm limiting myself to one album per artist!) It's much more lush and beautiful, while still retaining some of the uncanny spooky-ish undertones of that album! Biological being the only track that goes completely in that direction (Though you can still hear it on Run and Another Day). Alone in Kyoto may be the best closer to any album ever.
